Wow - can't believe that Sir Edmund Hillary died this morning. Very sad! I don't know why but famous people like that dieing always floors me (nice famous people not tacky famous people). I guess its the invincible thing - they're not "real people", they're icons. They're not meant to die - they're meant to live for ever (as are mum & Paul - or so I keep telling them).
And even worse, I mentioned it to a couple of my work mates and one of them was like "whose that".
